History of the Haunted
Trail/ House

At roughly age 8 my interest in Halloween began when a neighbor of mine told
me how they used to scare all of their neighbors on Halloween by hanging a
ghost in the tree and then dropping it down on people as they came to the door.
I soon began doing the same, and eventually my small scale scaring, grew into a
full home haunted house where people from all over the area came to see what I
had done at my parents Plymouth home.  From the front yard and the backyard,
all the way into the garage, guests got to see some pretty cool decorations,
effects, and get a bit startled.  The haunt soon needed a new home when it got
too big, and after graduation from the University of St. Thomas, I took my
business knowledge and creativity
and started a "real" attraction.  2005 was the
first year of operation with
what I called The Haunted Corn Trail.  Over 2,600
people attended and had a terrific time.
